Tosto will return to the Wildacres Flute Retreat as our onsite massage therapist.
She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Licensed Massage and Bodywork, licensed
in both her home state of Virginia and in North Carolina (NC #7721). As a massage
therapist since 1991, as well as a flutist, she understands the particular tensions
that can affect a flute player.
Massage is an ancient healing modality, but has only recently become truly mainstream in this country. The benefits of relaxing hypertonic tissue and improving circulation, combined with the energetic benefts of healing touch therapy, can help relieve both physical and emotional stress. Massage works simultaneously on the body, the mind, and the spirit.
There is no need to reserve a massage in advance. A sign-up sheet will be posted at Wildacres upon arrival. (Minors who wish to receive a seated massage should obtain written permission from a parent or guardian.) The fee will be $60 for an hour’s table massage and $20 for a twenty-minute seated massage or $30 for a 30 minute massage.
